  We spent 7 nights at Melas Apartments from 17-24 June this year. Our room (5) was on the second floor with a sea view...and what a view! With the French... read more windows wide open you could see the whole bay and the wonderful blue of the Aegean was quite mesmerising from dawn to the early hours of the night. The room was relatively simple but very clean. Not much provision for hanging or storing clothes,although the room itself was spacious so we left a few stacks of clothes on chairs. No great hardship on what was basically a beach holiday. The daily rate was very reasonable so we weren't expecting luxury. Ionna,the owner,was very helpful and changed the sheets and towels a couple of times during the week. The location is just a few minutes walk from the town centre and a 5 minute bus or car ride from our favourite Havania Beach which is mainly frequented by charming Greek couples and families of all ages.We will definitely return to Melas when in Ag Nik again. The only disadvantage we found was the noise from the road between the apartments and the sea if the windows were left open at night. However,the double glazing cuts out this noise and the rooms do have air conditioning. We found that we did get used to the sound of the traffic below and thought that the view alone made Melas a very good choice for us.

We were really impressed with how well the apartment was kept and was very clean and esthetic.
Overall my best trip to Greece so far!
